Australia is providing AU$12 million to clear landmines and unexploded ordnance in Cambodia, in a major funding announcement to mark International Mine Action Day.  

Phnom Penh 12 March 2007: Equity News, the joint UNDP-TVK elections news bulletin, has announced the percentages of air time it will allocate to political parties on its broadcasts to ensure fair and balanced coverage of campaign activities during the run-up to the Commune Council Elections on 1 April 2007.  

Phnom Penh, 26 February 2007: Cambodia’s Ministry of Information and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to mark the return of the Equity News Elections Bulletin to state television and radio.

Representing communities around the world, the 25 award winners are developing innovative and practical responses to HIV and AIDS, often in the face of war, genocide, and extreme poverty.

Phnom Penh 24 January 2007: The Cambodian Government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have inked an agreement for a new three-year project aimed at reducing poverty through improving local governance in poor rural areas.
